Christmas Baubles & Bangles. Faux Wreaths, Swags, Trees Etc.~

Now thru January 15^th!! ALL Christmas in the shop is 50% off. Actually, what is a bauble or a bangle? Well, we have such wonderful decorations in our shop that there must be baubles & bangles here somewhere. There are sparkly Christmas trees, that will create a whole new look in your home for next year. We have wonderful ornaments for trees, including marvelous glittered pine cones & clear etched balls. Really nice artificial wreaths are a bargain at 50% off, & garlands that will spruce up your home or office at great prices. All you need to do is wrap them in the light clear dry cleaning plastic & store in a dry place like the back of a closet or in a storage room. (attics are usually too hot summers & basements too damp)

January: Bring Home a Blooming Plant~

There will be a big empty space where the Christmas tree was standing & when all the Christmas decorations get put in boxes & bags until next year, the office & house will have a big case of the blahs, maybe even the super duper blahs! To beat the blahs....purchase a few plants that will bring LIFE into the room. They all need not have blooms, some long lasting green plants have a way of bringing a room alive. But include small splashes of color even if it is only a 4” blooming plant. Another plant that blooms for 2 to 3 months, (even longer if you are good with plants) is a phalaenopsis orchid. Many believe it is hard to care for orchids, but in reality is very easy. Indirect light, temperatures above 65 degrees at night, a small amount of water (they don’t need to be very wet!). Occasional ½ strength fertilizer, & if possible mist now and then. You need to remember that orchids are actually tree dwellers in their natural environ so they do not get nutrition from any soil. So some plant food makes them lusher & blooms will last longer.)

ALSO think about a Monday delivery for your valentine at work so you won’t be caught in the Tuesday massive crush. Timed deliveries are impossible to promise. Remember we cannot leave anything on doorsteps or unheated porches, it’s WAY TOO COLD. Please oh please..call early for special requests! Feb 14^th AM deliveries go to schools & businesses first. Sad to say, but last minute orders may not get delivered till the day after Valentine’s Day.. But you can always pick up something till we close at 5:30 PM.
